16-year-old Bolivian prodigy unable to enter the United States to participate in the Copa America

The Bolivian Football Association announced that 16-year-old forward Moises Paniagua cannot travel with the team to the United States to participate in the Copa America due to not having parental authorization.

Moises Paniagua is currently one of Bolivia's most promising young talents. He has made 56 appearances for his club, Always Ready, scoring 7 goals and providing 2 assists. At the age of 16 years and 188 days, he became the second youngest goal scorer in the history of the Copa Libertadores.

Bolivia was scheduled to play two friendly matches in the United States, and Moises Paniagua was included in the squad. However, since he is not yet 18 years old, he needs to have parental authorization to enter the United States. It is reported that as his father is currently not in Bolivia, Moises Paniagua did not obtain the authorization and therefore cannot travel with the team to the United States, missing out on the Copa America tournament as a result.
